Arctic Blues
Arctic Blues is a virtual reality experience developed by high school students, integrating student-created assets, including but not limited to textures crafted from photos taken around their school and community, custom sound effects, voiceovers for NPCs, and designed posters.
Designed for primary and secondary education.
Focuses on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing climate change and the melting ice caps—why it’s happening and how it impacts the world. The experience featured an interactive slideshow embedded within the VR world to educate users on these critical issues.
Primary role: Educator and project lead—guiding students through concept development, facilitating cross-subject collaboration, managing project timelines, and ensuring completion.
Arctic Blues delivered an engaging and thought-provoking experience. Presented at the community expo, it left a lasting impression, sparking conversations about climate awareness and environmental responsibility.
